If you have your own pic of yourself, you can use that as your "Avatar/profile pic" but some people are shy that way.
Okay, first you need to do is look up in the top right of your screen and you will see settings

From there, you will find on the left side: Edit Avatar

After you click on edit avatar, you will see this (Note, I have this forum set for 150x150)
